The Department of Agriculture (DA) is one of the top ten (10) spending agencies among the National Government Agencies (NGAs) in terms of Budget Utilization (BU). This month of May 2021, DA is now officially declared as a BTMS Go Live agency through catch-up mode. As of date, DA Finance Division Group is completing the necessary documents in preparation for full utilization of the BTMS.
The Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) is one of the pilot agencies to implement the Budget and Treasury Management System. From doing most of their transactions in catch up mode last year, BTr is now slowly shifting to full implementation of the BTMS thru transaction mode or real time processing in most of their transactions in the Central Office and some Regional offices.
